There's TONS of stuff to do around here! In addition to beautiful Douglas Lake -- where you can fish, swim, boat, water-ski, jet ski, tube, etc. -- you can also hike, shop, play golf, ride go-carts, see shows...you name it. It's all here, or within about an hour of here. (I'm nowhere near done with this page. I'll be adding stuff here for years to come!) Below are some of the great attractions you might want to check out while you are in the area! Phone numbers are provided so that you can call to get dates and times, or click on the link for more information. (Some of these attractions are not open year round.)
I haven't included many attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but if you want some really good advice, check out Barry Meadows' Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg Website. Barry's lived and worked in the area all his life, so he knows what, where, when, and how much! (And he's awesome with an airbrush!)
OK, I've put together an interactive map...(well, Microsoft and me ;-) that shows where all these places above are in relation to the cabin. You can even get pretty accurate driving directions to almost anywhere you want to go. It's a great day planner! Check it out!
